Sashing Stash is a unique new fabric for quilters, designed to provide quick sashing and borders, as well as replacing weeks of piecing on traditional quilt designs.
Start with the focus fabric. It consists entirely of 5 intricately coordinated traditional sashing and border designs. While most fabric lines include a stripe suitable for borders and sashing, that stripe coordinates only with the fabric in its own line and, with luck, maybe one other in the store. Sashing Stash coordinates with at least 70 percent of the fabrics in any fabric store, both vintage and contemporary. A few yards of Sashing Stash in a quilter’s stash can provide dazzle for five to twelve quilts.
