“The inspiration to make this quilt came when several piles of red & white and black & white fabrics, in scraps and fat quarters, were sitting together on my work table. Many of these fabrics were designed by friends and/or given to me by friends and acquaintances. The Sashing Stash Flying Geese pattern in red encouraged me to make the Giant Geese using Carol Van Zandt’s tone on tone red fabric along with the printed black & white fabrics from Carol and from my stash.”
